Compare actual packed dimensions
Compare formed and folded samples with the intended insert and accessories. Do not assume a fixed percentage saving from a rendering.
Plan customer assembly
Confirm how corners lock, whether adhesive is used and how the insert fits after forming. Clear instructions can help keep assembly consistent.
Protect the finish in transit
Consider friction, stacking and compression in the outer carton. Interleaving or protective wrapping may be appropriate for some finishes.
Approve a packing sample
Measure the final carton, count units per carton and confirm weight. Transport checks should match the intended shipment and order requirements.
